High power draws to watch: Induction stove uses the most power — check battery % before long cooking sessions. Fridge, fans, and lights are low draw and run continuously fine.

Shore power tip: At any RV park with a 30A hookup, plug in overnight for a full recharge. Ask host if you need a 30A adapter.

Monitor Your Power in Real Time

The van uses a Victron Energy system to manage solar, battery, and shore power. You can monitor battery state of charge, solar input, and power consumption from your phone — even remotely.

Note:

100% propane-free — everything runs on induction / electric. No gas canisters needed.

Induction stove (2-burner): Turn on the stove switch , place induction-compatible cookware on burner, press power, adjust heat level. High draw — check battery state before long cooking sessions.

Toaster oven / air fryer: Located . Standard plug-in operation. Great for heating meals with lower power draw than induction at high settings.

ICECO dual-zone fridge/freezer: Two independently controlled zones. Set fridge ~38°F and freezer ~0°F via the digital panel. Power draw is continuous but efficient — leave it on throughout your trip.

Fresh water (filtered): 30-gallon tank feeds the kitchen sink. Tap is . Water is filtered — safe to drink directly.

Grey water: Sink drains to grey water tank.

Fresh water tank: 30-gallon filtered tank. Sufficient for 3–5 days of moderate use.

Fill port location:

Hot water heater: Mini electric tank. Turn on the hot water switch about 10–15 minutes before you need hot water. Turn off when done to conserve power.

Solar shower: Portable bag shower stored at . Fill with water, hang in sun for 1–2 hours, enjoy! Great for post-hike rinse.

Grey water:

Radiant heated floors: Eco-friendly hardwood floor with radiant heat element. Thermostat/switch located . Runs off battery — best used when plugged into shore power for extended use.

Space heater: Located at . Great for quick warmth. Monitor battery usage if not on shore power.

Two ceiling fans: Fan controls are . Run on low draw — great for all-night ventilation. Use for cooling airflow and moisture management.

Insulated window covers: Stored at . Install at night for warmth or during the day to block sun and keep the van cool. Dramatically improves temperature regulation.

No AC: Ceiling fans + parking in shade + cracking windows recommended for hot days. The van stays surprisingly comfortable with good airflow.

Type: Composting toilet — no chemicals needed, no dump station required. More eco-friendly than a cassette toilet!
